Check the hose several times a year; it must be leak-tight, free of pores (soapy water test/leak spray), and firmly attached to the connection.

The maximum service life for a Gloor hose is 8 years depending on the environment (less for outdoor use), after which it should be replaced.

The maximum service life of the valve is stated as 12 years; we recommend replacing the flashback arrestor with the valve after 10 years of normal use without damage.

Product care & materials

What materials do you use?

We use a wide variety of materials – including 925 sterling silver, stainless steel and surgical steel, nickel-free silver-plated and gold-plated metals, genuine minerals, glass, and many other materials for jewelry making.

In our own workshop, we also handcraft glass beads that we use for individual jewelry pieces and accessories.

What's the best way to care for my jewelry?

Keep your jewelry as dry as possible and preferably store pieces individually. Avoid direct contact with perfume, cosmetics, and cleaning agents. If necessary, clean your jewelry gently with a soft cloth. This will help maintain its color, shine, and beauty for as long as possible.

Can I wear my jewelry while showering or exercising?

We recommend removing jewelry before showering, swimming, or exercising – moisture, chlorine, and sweat can damage some materials.
