Hotfix rhinestones are coated with an adhesive that bonds to materials when heated.

Hotfix Swarovski Crystal Instructions

For a good result, the garment must first be washed and dried.

 

1.       Place a piece of thick paper or cardboard under the item to be decorated to protect the surface underneath.

2.       To create a pattern, use a pencil, tailor's chalk, or another marker that washes off. Now mark light dots where you want the crystals to go.

3.       Place the crystals.

4.       Take the hotfix applicator tool and slide the switch to ON. Then press the red button (the light should glow red) and press gently on the crystal for a few seconds; the duration depends on the fabric (refer to the table).

5.       Let cool for 2 minutes. If a stone does not hold, repeat step 4.

6.       Done.

7.       Turn the garment inside out; washable at 30 degrees.

8.       Not suitable for tumble drying.

Place the stones and set with the applicator for approx. 15 seconds.

What materials do you use?


We use a wide variety of materials – including 925 sterling silver, stainless steel and surgical steel, nickel-free silver-plated and gold-plated metals, genuine minerals, glass, and many other materials for jewelry making.

In our own workshop, we also handcraft glass beads that we use for individual jewelry pieces and accessories.

What's the best way to care for my jewelry?


Keep your jewelry as dry as possible and preferably store pieces individually. Avoid direct contact with perfume, cosmetics, and cleaning agents. If necessary, clean your jewelry gently with a soft cloth. This will help maintain its color, shine, and beauty for as long as possible.

Can I wear my jewelry while showering or exercising?

We recommend removing jewelry before showering, swimming, or exercising – moisture, chlorine, and sweat can damage some materials.
