Hotfix Crystal Instructions

For best results, the garment must be washed and dried first.

1. Place a thick piece of paper or cardboard under the item to be decorated to protect the surface underneath.

2. To create a pattern, use a pencil, tailor's chalk, or another marker that washes out. Mark small dots where you want the rhinestones to go.

3. Place the stones.

4. Now take the hotfix tool and switch it to ON. Press the red button (the light must glow red) and press gently on the stone for a few seconds, with the time varying depending on the fabric (see table).

5. Let cool for 2 minutes. If a stone does not hold, repeat step 4.

6. Finished.

7. Turn the garment inside out; washable at 30 degrees.

8. Not suitable for tumble drying.

Product care & materials

What materials do you use?

We use a wide variety of materials – including 925 sterling silver, stainless steel and surgical steel, nickel-free silver-plated and gold-plated metals, genuine minerals, glass, and many other materials for jewelry making.

In our own workshop, we also handcraft glass beads that we use for individual jewelry pieces and accessories.

What's the best way to care for my jewelry?

Keep your jewelry as dry as possible and preferably store pieces individually. Avoid direct contact with perfume, cosmetics, and cleaning agents. If necessary, clean your jewelry gently with a soft cloth. This will help maintain its color, shine, and beauty for as long as possible.

Can I wear my jewelry while showering or exercising?

We recommend removing jewelry before showering, swimming, or exercising – moisture, chlorine, and sweat can damage some materials.
