Glass is so versatile and sometimes unpredictable, which makes working with it particularly exciting. I also have a passion for jewelry and have experimented with various materials. At some point, I thought about how wonderful it would be to complete my jewelry with custom beads or stones. That is how the desire to learn the technique of bead making was born.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eIn 2024, the time had finally come!\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eAt the end of January, I took a glass bead making course at the Neus Shop. Since that day, I’ve been truly addicted to trying out new things, but also simply to letting the inner peace that comes with bead making take effect.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eWhat did you find the most difficult to learn?\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eGetting all the beads to be the same size.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eWho is your role model, and where do you get your inspiration?\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eI don’t have one single role model. I like to be inspired by other people, for example, other users of the Neus Shop studio, in courses, and on social networks. I try to let my own touch flow into my creations.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eI am still in the experimental phase and love to be inspired by very different techniques, subjects, and creations.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eWhat are your goals?\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e????To own the matching glass bead jewelry for every color combination in my closet.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eWhat do you take away from this challenge? What did you enjoy about it?\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eThe biggest challenge and at the same time the greatest fun in this task was the combination of the specified colors. The interplay of the different reaction patterns of the assigned glass colors offered an exciting voyage of discovery. While experimenting, I discovered how I could transform a delicate pink into a bold pink with a thin layer of transparent pink. The ivory glass rods challenged me. On one hand, this color softened the sweetness of the combination; on the other, it unfolded a complex color structure with darker and lighter nuances, which unfortunately did not always correspond to my expectations.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eThroughout the challenge, I felt the pressure to be able to present something beautiful. I am all the more happy now to be able to show you something that I really like. I am especially looking forward to wearing these pieces with a matching summer dress after the exhibition month.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eI would participate in this challenge again anytime—it was an exciting experience.
