ACE UV Didymium Safety Glasses – Black | For Glass Beads & Lampworking

The ACE UV Didymium Safety Glasses were developed specifically for glass bead making and lampworking. They reliably protect the eyes from harmful sodium flare (didymium filter) as well as UV light generated when working at the torch.

The purple-tinted lenses improve the view of the glass, reduce glare, and allow for clear perception of colors and incandescent states while bead winding.

Features:

  • Didymium filter against sodium flare

  • UV protection for safe work at the torch

  • Black frame, lightweight and comfortable to wear

  • Clear view when winding glass beads

  • Ideal for lampworkers, glass bead makers, and glass processing

Product care & materials

What materials do you use?

We use a wide variety of materials – including 925 sterling silver, stainless steel and surgical steel, nickel-free silver-plated and gold-plated metals, genuine minerals, glass, and many other materials for jewelry making.

In our own workshop, we also handcraft glass beads that we use for individual jewelry pieces and accessories.

What's the best way to care for my jewelry?

Keep your jewelry as dry as possible and preferably store pieces individually. Avoid direct contact with perfume, cosmetics, and cleaning agents. If necessary, clean your jewelry gently with a soft cloth. This will help maintain its color, shine, and beauty for as long as possible.

Can I wear my jewelry while showering or exercising?

We recommend removing jewelry before showering, swimming, or exercising – moisture, chlorine, and sweat can damage some materials.
